1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how the iOS application “MatchDay 26” (the “App”) handles information. The App is provided by Ahmet Bostancıklıoğlu (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at ahmetbostancikli@gmail.com.
2. Information we do not collect
We do not require an account and we do not collect, store or transmit personal information such as your name, email, contacts, photos, precise location, or advertising identifiers. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not display ads.
3. Information stored on your device
- App preferences (e.g. onboarding completion, favourite selections) are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage.
- Optional API key: if you choose to add a free API-Football key to unlock player match ratings, it is stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device only. It is sent solely to that provider to fetch ratings and is never transmitted to us.
This information never leaves your device except as needed to call the third-party services listed below, and is removed if you delete the App.
4. Third-party services
To show live content, the App connects directly from your device to the following services. Your IP address is necessarily visible to them as part of any internet request. We do not control their practices; please review their own policies:
- TheSportsDB — live scores, fixtures, standings, squads, stadium photos and match videos.
- Open-Meteo — live weather for stadium locations (no personal data, no key).
- API-Football — optional player match ratings, only if you add your own key.
- Apple Maps (MapKit) — 3D satellite imagery of stadiums.
- YouTube — opened in an in-app browser when you play an anthem or match highlight.
5. Children
The App is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
6. Data security & retention
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to retain or breach. On-device data (preferences and any optional key) remains under your control and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
7. Your rights
As we hold no personal data about you, there is no personal data to access, correct or delete on our side. You can clear all on-device data at any time by deleting the App.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
