Privacy Policy — SlabGrade

AI Pre-Grader for Pokémon, Sports, & TCG Cards

No accounts · No tracking · No ads

SlabGrade ("the App") pre-grades trading cards (Pokémon, sports, TCG) on the PSA 1–10 scale using AI vision. We care about your privacy. This policy explains what data we handle. We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not require an account.

1. Photos & Camera

To grade a card, you photograph its front and back. Both images are sent to our AI provider (see §3) to assess centering, corners, edges, and surface. We do not store your card images on our servers.

2. Grading History & Local Storage

If you save a graded card, the following is stored locally on your iPhone only:

Front + back photos (JPEG in your app sandbox)
Sub-grades (centering, corners, edges, surface), overall grade, PSA equivalent, estimated value, flaws list, notes
Free-tier counter (3 grades / 24 h, tracked locally)

None of this is uploaded to our servers. Deleting the App removes everything.

3. Third-Party Services

Google Gemini AI (Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite Vision) — receives the front + back images and returns grading data. We do not transmit personally identifying information. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Supabase Edge Functions — relays our API credentials to authorized clients. No user data passes through this layer. See Supabase Privacy.
Apple StoreKit — handles optional SlabGrade Pro subscriptions. We never see payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Grading Disclaimer

SlabGrade is a pre-grading estimate, not an official grade. Real grades from services like PSA, BGS, or SGC may differ. Use SlabGrade to decide whether a card is worth submitting — but actual grades are determined by the human grader at the service.

5. Subscriptions & Purchases

SlabGrade Pro is an auto-renewable subscription processed by Apple. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.

6. Analytics & Diagnostics

No third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, no tracking pixels. Crash diagnostics use Apple's standard opt-in mechanism.

7. Children's Privacy

SlabGrade is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

Delete the App to remove all local data and graded cards.
Manage your subscription in iOS Settings → Subscriptions.
Contact us (see §10) to ask about data we hold.

9. Changes to This Policy

Significant changes will be noted with a revised effective date at the top of this page.
